MEETUP: Soup Night In The Daylight

Join us at the Humboldt Park Boathouse on Saturday, November 4 at 3 PM, for time spent sharing stories and getting to know one another. We'll also have lightly facilitated conversations about being in solidarity with asylum seekers and incoming migrants, and about mobilizing for Palestinian liberation 🇵🇸 Coming together and sharing space over soup is part of a practice of building trust and being in solidarity with one another. We invite you to bring what you're sitting with to soup -- what's challenging, what's energizing, what's hard. What's impacting you and your community. Bring your questions, your zines, your announcements, your crew, your family. We hope over time soup can evolve and change shape as we build this practice in collaborative ways. 💫 Soup aims to be a monthly practice with a couple guarantees: soups, fire in the cold times 🔥, and loose structure to connect around shared values, the justice & movement work we do, and what is going on in our communities right now. Please bring your own soup bowl and spoon if you can! We will have some to share. 🥣 ACCESSIBILITY INFO We will be gathering on the grass just east of the Boathouse. There is a paved walkway from the parking lot to get to the gathering location. There is parking at the Humboldt Park Boathouse. We will have Spanish language interpretation at this event and we encourage both English and Spanish in the main conversations and in breakout groups.
