Join us June 18th at 7pm at Pilsen Community Books for a special workplace organizing training with the Emergency Workplace Organizing Committee (EWOC), the group that put out Unite and Win: the Workplace Organizer's Handbook, which is an accessible and concise guide for those who want to know how to unionize. Since March of 2020 EWOC has provided support and training to thousands of non-union workers organizing for better working conditions all across the country. They believe that any worker in any industry can organize their workplace, and they're here to show you how to do it! In this training attendees will hear from EWOC organizers Joe Cronin and Ak Alilonu, and Ed Blair, a Bandcamp worker-organizer who was part of the union drive there. Participants will learn how to talk to coworkers, understand them better, and ultimately how to get them to support the campaign.
