Three days ago, Apple Store Lincoln Park fired a Palestinian employee for wearing a keffiyeh and other cultural items. It’s a double standard the store has only applied to Palestinians, as other employees are able to show their flags and culture. As a community, we are coming together to protest not only this outrageous act of racial discrimination but also Apple’s active participation in the genocide in the Congo, where they have used the murder, rape, and enslavement of Congolese people to make a profit by exploiting the nation’s resources. Bring your noisemakers, Palestinian and DRC flags, and let’s show up for our Palestinian neighbor and tell Apple that we are DONE with their Zionism, we are DONE with their plundering of the Congo and we are DONE with their racism.
